Fortnum’s x ArtReview

Paintings by John Virtue hanging in Fortnum & Mason’s flagship store in Picadilly, London

ArtReview partnered with Fortnum & Mason and art collector Frank Cohen on a series of in-conversations held at Fortnum & Mason’s flagship store in Piccadilly, London. The talks were part of a collaboration between Fortnum & Mason and Cohen. ArtReview editorial staff hosted the events, and recorded the talks, which were streamed on artreview.com

Zhang Enli

Chinese painter Zhang Enli, Fortnum’s Zia Zareem-Slade and Hauser & Wirth’s Neil Wenman, were in conversation with ArtReview and ArtReview Asia editor-in-chief Mark Rappolt, at Fortnum & Mason’s 3’6 Bar, London, on 9 September 2019. The discussion marked the launch of Zhang Enli’s exhibition at Fortum & Mason. Featuring 22 works by Zhang, including 19 works commissioned for this show, the exhibition is hung throughout the store, from the display windows on Piccadilly to shop floors, staircases and landings.

The discussion marked the launch of Virtue’s exhibition at Fortum & Mason. Featuring more than 60 works by Virtue, dating from the late 1980s to the present, the exhibition is hung throughout the store, from the display windows on Piccadilly to shop floors, staircases and landings.
