This visual art performance biennial Performa returns to New York for its 5th incarnation, with a three-week programme featuring more than 100 events at over 40 different venues. This year’s biennial has a particular focus on the legacy of Surrealism.
New York premieres include works by Cally Spooner, Joan Jonas and Einat Emir, with the full list of participating artists featuring Ed Atkins, Martha Graham, Jill Magid, Boris Charmatz and a host of others.
