Following a successful collaboration with EXPO CHICAGO in 2014, where ArtReview invited Austrian collective dienstag abend to take over a booth at the fair (more details here), we thought we’d leave the space to an artist from Singapore, whose art scene we’ve been exploring in recent issues of ArtReview Asia. Coinciding with the launch of the Autumn issue, we have invited Singaporean photographer – and ArtReview Asia Summer 2015 featured artist – Nguan to do the same.

Nguan will be presenting works from his series How Loneliness Goes and Singapore (both 2011–14), which chronicles life in Singapore in a very singular way, striking a balance between sweetness and brutality, longing and psychosis. His prints will be presented alongside copies of his sold-out book How Loneliness Goes (2013) and, of course, the latest of ArtReview Asia.

Join us and Nguan at booth 807, and grab your copy of ArtReview Asia.

7 September 2015.
