ArtReview Live presents: 'I Will Not Make Any More Boring Books', with John Morgan

During this year’s London Art Book Fair at the Whitechapel Gallery and as part of our regular ArtReview Live series, ArtReview Art Director John Morgan (founder, John Morgan Studio) will be hosting an afternoon of design criticism, therapeutic destruction, discussion and drinking.

You are invited to bring along books that you want to destroy with good reason – perhaps a work of your own that you can no longer live with or regret, a gift or purchase that carries bad memories and associations, or content you strongly disagree with – share the reason and select a method of destruction. John will destroy some of his own book design work and invite a group of colleagues and associates to do the same. The remains will be recycled.

The event is free but tickets are limited, so hurry!

Also at the London Art Book Fair, ArtReview managing editor, Oliver Basciano, will take part in a panel discussion on Friday 26 September pondering How to Write About Contemporary Art with fellow critics Tom Morton and Gilda Williams.
