Burberry showing forty Henry Moore works amongst new collection in London

The fashion brand Burberry is staging an exhibition of works by Henry Moore in London. The show, which features over forty of Moore’s sculptures, monumental bronzes, working models, drawings and maquettes – including Mother and Child: Block Seat (1983–84), Draped Reclining Mother and Baby (1983) and Torso with Point (1967) – installed alongside the company’s February 2017 Collection. The collection itself is inspired by the modernist artist’s work and process; with press material noting ‘the scale, shape and texture is translated into sculptural silhouettes and asymmetric designs.’ The project was realised in collaboration with the Henry More Foundation and partners with the Hepworth Wakefield.

Makers House is at 1 Manette Street, W1, through 27 February
