Artists with moving image based practices have until 18 January to apply for Berwick Visual Arts’s annual artist’s residency in partnership with Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival.
The residency is for a six month period beginning in April 2016 and provides the opportunity for an artist with a moving image based practice to create a new work in response to ‘X’, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival’s 2016 theme. A bursary of £8,000 in addition to private accommodation and studio space in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, UK, are available. The work made during the residency will be premiered at Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival between 21st and 25th September 2016.
Applicants, who can be resident in any country, must have been out of college (BA graduate) for a minimum of 3 years, or have fully completed an MA and/or PhD.
