London’s National Theatre Director Sir Nicholas Hytner has filed a complaint with Lambeth Borough against the next door Southbank Centre’s £120m redevelopment proposals, the Guardian has reported, citing that irreparable harm will be done to the setting of the National Theatre’s grade II*-listed buildings by blocking views from the theatres’ terraces and casting shade over its public spaces.
