Russian artist Konstantin Altunin has fled the country and is seeking  asylum, the Art Newspaper reports, after paintings, which include an image of President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev in women’s underwear, were seized by the police after investigations on charges of ‘extemism’.
