Phillips appoints Martin Klosterfelde as Director and international contemporary art specialist

Martin Klosterfelde joins the international auction house Phillips after 18 years as owner of Klosterfelde gallery in Berlin where he created an international stage for artists including John Bock, Christian Jankowski and Matt Mullican. Prior to opening the gallery Klosterfelde worked for Barbara Gladstone in New York following his studies at Christie’s Education in London and New York. Klosterfelde is also a founding member of Gallery Weekend Berlin and ABC Art Berlin Contemporary, as well as serving on Frieze London and Art Basel Miami Beach committees.
