The controversial sculpture by Anish Kapoor, installed in the gardens of the Palais de Versailles, has been vandalised for the second time, Libération reports. After being sprayed with yellow paint in June, the sculpture has now been covered with racist, anti-Semitic and rightwing political slogans such as ‘The SECOND violation of the Nation by DEVIANT JEWISH activism’. The Turner Prize-winning artist said in a statement that he will ‘not allow this act of violence and intolerance to be erased’ and instead will have explanatory signs next to the sculpture, drawing attention to such acts of cultural fascism.
