Andrea Schlieker leaves White Cube for Tate Britain

Andrea Schlieker is to join Tate Britain in the newly-created role of director of exhibitions and displays. Since 2012 the art historian as been director of commissions and external projects at White Cube. Schliekeris well-known for public art projects, having founded the Folkestone Triennial in 2008, having previously worked on the Fourth Plinth commission from 2005 to 2007. She curated the British Art Show 5 in 2005 and has previously worked at the Institute of Contemporary Arts and the Serpentine Gallery in London.
