Succeeding Florence Derieux and starting with 2016, Samuel Leuenberger will curate Art Basel’s Parcours sector, a segment that engages with the city’s historical neighbourhood through site-specific sculptures, interventions, and performances.

Born in Basel, Leuenberger has been running the non-for-profit exhibition space SALTS in Birsfelden, Switzerland, since 2009. He also worked with Stephen Friedman Gallery in London and the Kunsthalle Zürich, and was the associate curator of 14 Rooms, the live art exhibition curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Klaus Biesenbach held in Basel in 2014.

8 July 2015.
