New York’s Printed Matter, the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to artists’ books, has announced Max Schumann as its new executive director, Artforum reports. Schumann has worked with the organisation for twenty-six years, serving most recently as associate director. His appointment coincides with Printed Matter’s upcoming move to a larger space at 11th Avenue and 26th Street in September.
