Slovak artist Martin Kollar is the winner of the first edition of the Prix Elysée, an award co-organised by the Musée de l’Elysée and Parmigiani Fleurier in support to artists working with photography and books.

Kollar will receive CHF 80,000 (approx. £55,000), half of which will go towards the production of his project Provisional Arrangement, which the artist describes as ‘a photographic record capturing the disintegration of permanence into temporary and provisional’, and the other half to the publication of an accompanying book. An exhibition of his project will be on show in Lausanne in September 2016.
