Deutsche Bank has announced Japanese artist Koki Tanaka as its Artist of the Year 2015, the sixth artist to be given the annual award, following Wangechi Mutu (Kenya), Yto Barrada (France/Morocco), Roman Ondák (Slovakia), Imran Qureshi (Pakistan), and Victor Man (Romania).

The Deutsche Bank KunstHalle in Berlin will present a major show of the artist’s work in the spring of 2015, with an accompanying catalogue.
