Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller will be releasing a free downloadable animated artwork available from 7 July. Building on his installation ‘English Magic’ at the 2013 Venice Biennale, the work will be divided into 10,000 stills to be downloaded online as individual works of art. Deller’s final animation will be screened on 19 July, in both Stratford and Shepherd’s Bush Westfield shopping centres.
The work was commissioned to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Own Art, an interest-free loan scheme set up by Arts Council England to support people collecting contemporary art.
