Lars Nittve to step down as director of M+, Hong Kong

The West Kowloon Cutural District Authority in Hong Kong announced that Lars Nittve will be stepping down as Executive director of M+ in January 2016, after five years in the role.

Scheduled to open to the public in 2019, the M+ will be a museum dedicated to 20th and 21st century art, design and architecture and moving image. Continuing as executive director until January 2016, Nittve will oversee the completion of the programme for the Arts Pavilion due to open in 2016, and which will act as a temporary home for M+ exhibitions.
