Launch of new Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship Programme

The Art Institute of Chicago, the High Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston (MFAH), and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art have announced the launch of The Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Program, which provides specialised training in the curatorial field for students across the United States from diverse backgrounds. This initiative is supported by a grant of $2,073,000 from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The fellowship seeks to make a critical impact on American art museums by developing gifted curators who are committed to engaging with the full spectrum of museum audiences. Fellows will participate in The Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Program throughout their undergraduate career, with the goal of continuing their education through graduate work.
