Banksy has added his own twist on philanthropic giving by donating a reworked painting back to the New York thrift store that it was originally bought from, Bloomberg reports. The store, run by Housing Works, which provides support for the homeless living with HIV/AIDS, sold the work (originally bought for $50) at auction for $615,000.

Banksy’s addition to the painting, which depicts a romantic autumnal landscape, was to add a figure in Nazi uniform contemplating the view, and to retitle the work The Banality of the Banality of Evil.
