Hong Kong born artist Kwan Sheung Chi (and cover photographer for ArtReview Asia‘s inaugural issue, and one of the photographers for our Power 100 portrait shoots) has won this year’s inaugural Hugo Boss Aisa Art Award, set up to recognise significant achievements in contemporary art in Asia.
An exhibition of work by Kwan Sheung Chi and the other six finalists – BIRDHEAD, Hsu Chia Wei, Hu Xiangqian, Lee Kit, Li Liao and Li Wei, is showing at Rockbund Art Museum through 8 December.
