While many galleries are opening outposts in San Francisco ahead of SFMOMA’s reopening, the New York-based gallery Greene Naftali is staying local and opening a satellite space in… Williamsburg, Brooklyn, ARTnews reports. The venue, a former garage located at 227 Leonard Street, will open on 8 April with a Lutz Bacher show. Unlike its white-cube Chelsea spaces, Greene Naftali Garage will look to offer alternative modes of presentation, and to show a ‘dynamic, open, and spontaneous programming’.
