Elvira Dyangani Ose has been announced as the curator of the eighth edition of GIBCA, in 2015. Dyangani Ose is currently Curator International Art, supported by Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, at Tate Modern and co-curated their Ibrahim El-Salahi: A Visionary Modernist exhibition in 2013.
Before Tate, she was curator at the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno, 2004–2006, and the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, 2006–2008, and organised exhibitions featuring work by General Idea, the Viennese Actionists, Alfredo Jaar and Lara Almárcegui, amongst others.
GIBCA 2015 will run from 12 September to 22 November 2015
