Centre Pompidou appoints Yung Ma as curator of new research programme on Chinese contemporary art

Centre Pompidou, Paris, has announced the appointment of Yung Ma as the curator of the their new three-year research programme on contemporary art, developed as part of a three-year partnership with the K11 Art Foundation. Starting 13 June, Ma will join the French museum from his role at M+ in Hong Kong, where he served as an associate curator and had been a core member of the curatorial team since its inception in 2011. Over the course of his three-year tenure, he will focus on developing an in-depth knowledge of different movements, as well as identifying outstanding young artists from Greater China, through various projects and exhibitions.
