After two years of legal dispute (which has involved multiple court orders, appeals and open letters), artist Danh Vo, his former gallerist Isabella Bortolozzi, and collector Bert Kreuk seem to have come to an agreement, Artnews reports. Although the exact terms haven’t been revealed, it would seem all parties have agreed to withdraw their claims relating to Kreuk’s 2013 breach-of-contract lawsuit and its aftermath. The lawsuit was originally filed against Vo for failing to deliver the allegedly promised installation for Transforming the Known, an exhibition of Kreuk’s collection at The Hague’s Gemeentemuseum. Kreuk claimed that during a tour of the museum, the artist and his gallerist had promised him a new large-scale work for a gallery in the show but instead provided only a signature cardboard whiskey box work.
