The Busan Biennale has announced that Lim Dong Lak will be taking over as the Executive Director of the Operating Committee of its 9th edition, scheduled for 2016. Dong Lak will oversee the implementation of events including the management of the Busan Biennale, which is integrates three different festivals held in the city: Busan Youth Biennale, Busan Sea Arts Festival and Busan Outdoor Sculpture Symposium.
Lim Dong Lak is a sculptor and professor at Dong-A University; his experience also include serving as a Ministry of Culture & Athletics advisory commissioner, an organizer for the Gwangju Biennale and a consultant to the Busan International Film Festival.
