Fernando Botero escapes holiday home fire

Artist Fernando Botero has escaped unscathed from a fire at his holiday home in Colombia, artdaily reports. The 81-year-old was staying there with friends. A caretaker was slightly injured but firefighters prevented the flames from reaching the artist’s studio.
