Philippe Parreno will undertake this year’s commission for Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall. This is the second commission of a new series for the vast gallery space since a change of sponsor from Unilever to car maker Hyundi. Here’s what Tate say about Parreno: ‘a key artist of his generation, Parreno explores the borders between reality and fiction and is known for investigating and redefining the gallery-going experience.’ You can read what he says about himself here.
