Dunham Massey (National Trust), Altrincham; IWM London; The MAC, Belfast; Oxford University Museum of Natural History and The Whitworth, Manchester are in the running for this year’s Art Fund Museum of the Year.
The judging panel for the UK based prize includes chair, Stephen Deuchar, artist Michael Landy, design critic Alice Rawsthorn, The Economist books and arts editor, Fiammetta Rocco, and Axel Rüger, director of Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum. The winning museum, announced at Tate Modern on 1 July, will receive £100,000.
