The Board of Directors of the Mercosul Bienal Foundation of Visual Arts (FBAVM) have announced that art historian and curator Dr. Gaudêncio Fidelis has been appointed chief curator for the 10th Mercosul Bienal, which will be held in the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre in 2015. The Biennial will be titled Messages from a New America.
Mr. Fidelis’ team of curators will include Marcio Tavares, Ramón Castillo Inostroza,Raphael Fonseca, Fernando Davis and Carmen Cebreros Urzaiz.
