The Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) has named Adam Sheffer as the organisation’s new President. He will be replacing Dorsey Waxter, in the post since 2012, in overseeing the non-profit organisation that represents 180 art dealers across the US.
Currently a partner and sales director at Cheim & Read, Sheffer has been vice-president of ADAA since 2013, and worked as a director for three ADAA members since 2005, including Robert Miller Gallery, Danese Gallery, and Mary Boone Gallery.
