The shortlisted artists for the second edition of the Hugo Boss Asia Art: Award for Emerging Asian Artists are Guan Xiao (China), Huang Po-Chih (Taiwan), Moe Satt(Myanmar), Maria Taniguchi (Philippines), Vandy Rattana (Cambodia), and Yang Xinguang (China).
Awarded every two years in partnership with the Rockbund Art Museum, the prize aims to honour emerging contemporary artists from Asia, this year with a focus on artists from Greater China.
The six shortlisted artists will be featured in an exhibition at the Rockbund Art Museum, from 30 October to 3 January 2016. The winner will be announced in November, receiving a cash prize of ¥300,000 (approx. £30,000).
