Art Dubai has announced the appointment of Myrna Ayad as the fair director. Ayad, an arts writer, editor and consultant, has been based in the UAE for the over 30 years and will now be responsible for developing Art Dubai’s programme. She will be replacing the current director, Antonia Carver, to work alongside VIP relations director Lela Csaky and international director Pablo Del Val. Antonia Carver will become the first director of Art Jameel whilst still remaining close to Art Dubai on an advisory level. Ayad will take up the role from 1 May 2016.
