Anthony Caro (1924-2013)

British sculptor Anthony Caro has died of a heart attack, age 89, The Guardian has reported. A retrospective of the artist, who was instrumental in changing sculpture in the mid-twentieth century by removing it from the plinth, can be seen at The Museo Correr in Venice until 27 October 2013.
