The Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund has awarded Dutch artist Hedwig Houben this year’s Charlotte Köhler Prize for her perfomance and video work. The prize, which is awarded annually since 2013, aims to support young artists in the field of visual art and theatre. Houben, along with Naomi Velissariou who was awarded the prize for her work in both writing and performing in theatre, will be presented the prize at the Young Talent Awards at the Compagnietheater in Amsterdam. Each artist will be given €30,000 (about £26,000) to fund future projects.
