Theaster Gates has been announced as the winner of the 2018 edition of the Nasher Sculpture Prize. The $100,000-prize (approx. £74,000) is awarded annually by the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, TX, to a living artist for their contribution to the field of sculpture.
