Glasgow football club Partick Thistle has unveiled its new mascot, Kinglsey, designed by artist David Shrigley, BBC Sports reports. The mascot was inspired by advisory team Kingsford Capital Management, who will be sponsoring the team for at least the next two seasons, and whose new logo was also redesigned by Shrigley to incorporate Kingsley’s somewhat angry looking face.
The unveiling of the new mascot is causing a storm on social media, where it is being described as ‘terrifying’. Kingsley has replaced former mascot Jaggy MacBee (below).
