The Davidoff Art Initiative has announced the selection of Puerto Rican artist Michael Linares for the 2016 Davidoff Art Residency at Atelier Modial in Basel, Switzerland. Linares, who will be the second artist to take part in the residency programme, works across sculpture, video, painting and installation. The artist’s residency at Atelier Mondial began in 2015 and supports ‘intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue about art, as well as the development of a sustainable network based on interest and friendship between artists from different countries and cultures.’
