Studio Voltaire, the not-for-profit arts organisation based in London, will be opening a fundraising exhibition to support The Studio Voltaire Capital Project which seeks to redevelop and expand its current site in South London. Artists for Studio Voltaire will be opening on 27 November at Cork Street Galleries with works donated by artists including Cory Arcangel, Phyllida Barlow, Anne Collier, Jeremy Deller, Nicole Eisenman, Antony Gormley, Anthea Hamilton, Camille Henrot, Carsten Holler, Jenny Holzer, Sanya Kantarovsky, Anish Kapoor, Ella Kruglyanskaya and Laure Prouvost.

The Studio Voltaire Capital Project hopes to raise funds to create 42% more affordable artists’ studios, a renovated exhibition space, dedicated learning space, public garden, café and the first–ever permanent House of Voltaire. In addition to this expansion, Studio Voltaire will launch a new Associates Programme, which will award ten artists ‘free studios for two years as well as a programme of professional development and mentoring, providing key support to emerging artists with limited financial means’.
