Shortlisted buildings for 2017 Stirling Prize. News 21 July 2017

RIBA has announced the shortlist of six buildings for this year’s Stirling Prize. The prize, which is awarded to the UK’s ‘best new building’, is now in its 22nd year and is considered to be the UK’s most prestigious architecture prize.The shortlisted buildings include: Barretts Grove by Amin Taha + Groupwork; City of Glasgow College – City Campus by Reiach And Hall Architects and Michael Laird Architects; Hastings Pier by dRMM Architects; Juergen Teller’s Photography Studio by 6a architects; Command of the Oceans by Baynes and Mitchell Architects; and The British Museum World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.

The winner will be announced on 31 October 2017.
