ArtTable awards for women's leadership in the arts announced

ArtTable, a nonprofit organisation supporting women’s leadership in the field of art, has announced that it will honour Lowery Stokes Sims and Lauren Cornell at its 24th annual benefit and award ceremony in April 2017, Artnews reports. Sims, who works as a curator at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York since 2007, will receive the group’s Distinguished Service to the Visual Arts Award, while the New Leadership Award will go to Lauren Cornell, curator and associate director at the New Museum in New York.
