Art Basel Hong Kong and BMW launched the first edition of the Art Journey project at the Hong Kong fair, providing young artists the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, where they will undertake research, create and showcase their work.
This year’s shortlist include Mika Tajima, Trevor Yeung and Samson Young, who have until the end of April to prepare their proposals. The winner will be announced in May 2015. The prize will be awarded twice a year to one artist showing in Art Basel’s sectors for emerging artists, at both the Miami and Hong Kong editions.
