Journalist and art historian Julia Grosse and curator Yvette Mutumba have been appointed to curate the Focus section of the 2016 Armory Show, which will be themed around ‘African Perspectives’.
Grosse and Mutumba founded Contemporary And in 2013, a platform that looks at international art from African perspectives through an eponymous publication and ART SPACE, a virtual room where artists and curators can realise projects and exhibitions together.
