Sculptor Antony Gormley is to become a knight, one of many individuals working in the arts to receive a ‘gong’ in the 2014 New Year’s Honours list. He was made an OBE in 1997.
Others to be honoured include dancer Carlos Acosta (CBE), singer Katherine Jenkins (OBE) and DJ Peter Tong (MBE).
