Constant Dullaart wins Prix Net Art 2015

Dutch artist Constant Dullaart (born 1979) is the winner of second edition of the Prix Net Art, awarded annually to an artist producing work primarily or exclusively online. Held in co-operation with the Chronus Art Center, Rhizome, and the Tsinhua University Art and Science Media Lab, it consists of a $10,000 monetary prize for the winner and a $5,000 Award of Distinction, which was granted to the Berlin-based collective Weise7.

Dullaart‘s conceptual work reflects on the broad cultural and social effects of communication and image processing technologies, using mediums such as websites, performances, routers, installations, startups, and manipulated found images. He exhibited internationally, including at Kunsthalle Schirn, Frankfurt; Futura, Prague; Carroll / Fletcher, London; XPO gallery, Paris; Import Projects, Berlin; Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam; Postmasters, NYC, USA.
