Mariette Dölle has been announced as the new director of the Kranenburgh Museum in Bergen. She will be stepping down from her current role as artistic director at Tent Rotterdam and take up her new position from 1 June.

During her time at Tent, Dölle transformed the art space into a platform that supports young artists and curators and developed public programmes. She has curated several exhibitions with works by Lara Almarcegui, Libia Castro & Olafur Olafsson, Wendelien van Oldenborgh, and Anne Wenzel. The Kranenburgh Museum – a nineteenth-century villa, with an extension completed in 2013 – houses a large collection from the Bergen School, as well as works by contemporary artists.
