Animators Tsui Ka-hei and twin brother Ka-long have turned their passion for milk tea into online comic strip Milktealogy, which celebrates Hong Kong’s tea drinking traditions.

A profile in The South China Morning Post details how the project, which was launched on social media last year, features tea tastings and interviews with established tea makers and owners of local diners and tea shops, known as cha chaan teng. By highlighting how many of these venues are having to close due to high rents Milktealogy is also hoping to raise awareness about preserving Hong Kong’s milk tea culture.
