MCH Group, the Swiss fair conglomerate who owns, among others, the Art Basel fairs, have announced the launch ART SG, a new contemporary art fair in Singapore. A joint venture between MCH Group, Sandy Angus of Angus Montgomery Arts and the events organiser Tim Etchells, the fair is schedule to run its first edition from 1–3 November 2019 the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands, and will showcase 80 established and experimental galleries.
Aside from the Art Basel franchise, MCH also has majority stakes in Masterpiece London (67%), the India Art Fair (60.3%) as well as a 21.5% stake in art.fair International, the organiser behind Art Düsseldorf, which launched in November 2017.
