Artist Paul Cummins, who co-created the ceramic poppy installation, Blood Swept Lands And Seas Of Red, on display from August through November 2014 in the Tower of London moat to mark British and colonial deaths during the First World War, and which attracted over 4 million visitors, has received death threats.

Cummins told the Sunday Times that he believed the threats, which were made via email, phone and letter, were from people unhappy about proceeds from the sale of the poppies going to charities which they believed were associated with war.
