Dallas Museum of Art has announced the appointment Dr. Agustín Arteaga as its new director. Currently head of the Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL) in Mexico City, Arteaga’s previously served as director of the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico for over a decade, and as founding director of the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA) Fundación Costantini in Argentina. Arteaga will take up the position on 1 September 2016.
