The 2014 Future Generation Art Prize has extended the closing date for applications by two weeks, until 30 April. Launched by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009, the Prize is open to all artists under the age of 35, with the winner receiving an award of  $100,000 (£60,000) – $60,000 (£36,000) as a cash award, and $36,000 (£24,000) towards the production of new work. 2014 

Jury members, who include curator Francesco Bonami, Director for the Centre of Contemporary Art, Lagos, Bisi Silver and Philip Tinari, Director of the Ullens Center for Contemporary art in Beijing, nominate a member of the Selection Committee to chose a shortlist of up to 20 shortlisted artists, announced in June. 

An exhibition of the shortlisted artists, plus the winner of the national Pinchuk Art Centre Prize, Zhanna Kadyrova, will take place from 2 October 2014 to 4 January  2015 at the Pinchuk Art Centre, in Kiev,  with the overall winner announced in December.
